✅ Page nav lives on a dial screen, so all twelve keys stay free for actions. Spin to pick Build, Animate, Refine, Text, Effects & View, or Composite & Output, press to jump, and there's a Label Colors folder hanging off Build.

✅ Two dials, four screens, mapped so the pairs make sense. Navigate and Jog share one dial, Keyframe and a contextual dial share the other: Scale on Build, Font Size on Text, Opacity everywhere else. Push and hold to swap which screen a dial is driving. That's Galleon's own behavior, and it takes a few sessions to stop thinking about it.

✅ Reaches commands After Effects ships with no shortcut at all. Separate Dimensions, Convert Expression to Keyframes, the eight text animators, and all eight label colors. The included FlowKits keyboard preset binds them, and each one gets a key.

Windows only, with keyboard presets for After Effects 24.0, 24.3, 25.1, and 26.2. There's no Mac build in this one.

⚡ Why You'll Love It

Twelve keys a page is a real constraint, so nothing filler made it. I ranked every After Effects shortcut for time saved, then built each page around one phase of the work: create the layers, key them, clean up the curves, set type, add effects and masks, then camera, render, and work area.

The Galleon's advantage is that it's already under your hand. The tradeoff is that a standalone deck gives you more keys and dials at once, so this profile is built for the keys you do have.

🧭 Navigate: spin to pick a page, press to go. Your page nav never eats a key.

⏱️ Jog: one frame per detent. Press for ten at a time.

🔑 Keyframe: jump to the previous or next keyframe. Press to switch into nudging the selected keys.

🎚️ Contextual dial: Scale on Build, Font Size on Text, Opacity elsewhere. Fine by default, coarse on a press.
