After Effects Fastlane - Stream Deck XL

🎬 After Effects for Stream Deck XL: six workflow pages across 32 keys, with a nav row that never moves.

Motion work is a loop of nudge, scrub, check, nudge again. Fastlane puts that loop on the deck so you keep your hands where the work is ⚡

--

✅ A page per phase, not a wall of shortcuts. Build the comp, animate it, refine the curves, set type, add effects and masks, then camera, blend modes, and render. The top row holds all six pages plus Incremental Save, lit in the color of wherever you are.

✅ Reaches commands After Effects ships with no shortcut at all. Separate Dimensions, all five mask modes, Convert Expression to Keyframes, the eight text animators, and a folder of label colors. The included FlowKits keyboard preset binds them, and each one gets a key.

✅ Same color means the same thing on every page. Keyframe work is purple, transforms orange, timeline teal, view cyan. You learn the language once and it holds from Build to Composite.

Windows only, with keyboard presets for After Effects 24.0, 24.3, 25.1, and 26.2. There's no Mac build in this one.

⚡ Why You'll Love It

Most profiles are a shortcut list glued to a grid. This one is grouped the way you actually move: three rows of keys under the nav row, laid out in blocks, with the fiddly stuff pulled forward.

The XL has no dials, so nothing here relies on them. Reveal Scale, Opacity, and Rotation, Scroll to Playhead, Zoom to Fit, and keyframe nudging all sit on keys, and I ranked every one of them for how much time it saves before deciding what made the page.
