AI Quota

Shows how much of your Claude Code and Codex usage limits are left, right on your Stream Deck keys. It reads only the logs those tools already write on your computer, so it never calls an API - looking at your usage costs no tokens and no money.

[What it does]

Shows the Claude Code 5-hour and 7-day windows, and the Codex window, on your keys

- Counts down to the reset, with colours that change as you use it up (green to yellow to red)

- A combined key shows Claude and Codex together as two rings

- Press a key to switch windows; a separate key refreshes every key at once

Codex works as soon as you install the plugin.

Claude needs one step from you the first time. Claude does not store its usage rate anywhere on your computer, so the plugin needs a small helper that writes it somewhere it can read.

(1) Select a Claude key and open the settings panel on the right

(2) Check that "Use live values" is ticked (on by default)

(3) Press the "Set up automatically" button

(4) The real percentage appears the next time you start Claude Code

Until then the Claude key shows "Setup" instead of a number. An estimate made from local token counts was off by 46 points in testing, so an uncertain number is never shown as if it were real.

"Set up automatically" places a small Claude Code mod in ~/.claude/ai-quota/mod/ and registers it in ~/.claude/settings.json. Existing settings are kept, and a backup is taken before anything is written. The mod only writes the usage rate and the reset time to a file - no network access, no credentials and no AI usage charges. You can undo it at any time with "Remove registration".

[Requirements]

Stream Deck 6.9 or later, macOS 12 or later / Windows 10 or later

- Claude Code or Codex used on that computer

Claude Code と Codex の利用枠（あとどれだけ使えるか）を Stream Deck のキーに表示します。パソコンに残っているログだけを読むので、API は一切呼ばず、見るためのトークンも料金もかかりません。

【Claude の使用率を表示するには（初回のみ・各自で ON にしてください）】

Codex はインストールするだけで使用率が出ます。Claude は、初回だけご自身で有効化する操作が必要です。

(1) Claude のキーを選び、右側の設定画面を開く

(2)「実値を有効にする」にチェックが入っていることを確認（既定で ON）

(3)「自動設定」ボタンを押す

(4) 次に Claude Code を起動すると、実際の使用率が表示されます

有効化するまで、Claude のキーには数字ではなく「要設定」と表示されます。ローカルの記録だけからの推定は実測で 46 ポイントずれたことがあるためで、不確かな数字を実値と同じ見た目で出さない方針によるものです。

「自動設定」を押すと、Claude Code 用の小さな mod を ~/.claude/ai-quota/mod/ に置き、~/.claude/settings.json に登録を追加します。既存の設定は残し、書き換える前に控えを取ります。ネットワーク通信も、認証情報へのアクセスも、AI の利用料も発生しません。設定画面の「登録を外す」でいつでも元に戻せます。
