AirPlay puts dedicated audio and display controls on Stream Deck. Send Apple Music to a favourite speaker, bring several rooms together in a named scene, or route your whole Mac to one AirPlay receiver.

AIRPLAY AUDIO

Choose Apple Music only or whole-system audio. Find available receivers in the settings, save a destination, and tap to connect or disconnect. Yellow checking/connection feedback, green connected keys and a red four-second failure indicator help you see what happened. Choose steady status colours if you prefer no pulsing.

ONE KEY. EVERY ROOM.

Build multi-speaker scenes for Apple Music and give each scene its own title. Music receiver addresses distinguish speakers with the same name. Whole-system audio supports a single output.

HOLD. YOU'RE HOME.

Hold an Audio key for 1.2 seconds to return audio to built-in Mac speakers. In Music mode, holding also disconnects all selected Music receivers. A short tap preserves unrelated Music speakers.

RECEIVER DIAL

On Stream Deck +, turn to browse receivers and press to connect. Tap the touch strip to return audio to your Mac. Compatible encoder actions are also provided for Galleon; use an Audio key to disconnect on its non-touch display. Dials select single receivers; they do not adjust volume.

NEO INFOBAR

Show the current Music or system destination on Stream Deck Neo's InfoBar while keeping its keys available for actions.

SCREEN MIRRORING

Request connection or disconnection to an AirPlay TV/display from a key. Uses macOS Accessibility controls and checks the display inventory for feedback. macOS retains control of mirroring versus extension. Availability can vary with macOS versions and receivers; a TV passcode may require interaction on the Mac.

macOS 14 or later • Intel and Apple Silicon • Stream Deck 7.6 or later. Native helper included. Music control requires Automation permission; system discovery and Screen Mirroring require Accessibility permission. Mac and receivers must share a reachable network. Some receivers support Music only. Built-in audio must be available to restore Mac speakers.
