Ant Empire puts a glass ant farm on your XENEON EDGE, and the colony lives on real time. Leave it for a week and you come back to a nest you didn't dig: tunnels branching deep into the soil, chambers for the queen, nursery, food and waste, and a sand mound growing on the surface. It keeps going while your PC is off.

The world is far bigger than the screen. Drag to look around and pinch or use + and - to zoom from the whole farm down to one worker carrying a seed. The minimap shows your tunnels and the rival colony's.

Every ant has a job. The queen lays eggs, nurses raise the brood and feed her, scouts find food and leave a scent trail home, foragers follow it, and diggers grow the nest. When food runs low, the colony moves workers from digging to foraging on its own.

Play along or just watch. Drop food, draw a trail for ants to follow or a tunnel for them to dig, follow an ant, or take control of one.

A rival colony lives across the farm: peaceful, raiding (your queen stays safe) or full war. Squish raiders and send a counter-raid. Weather and critters add rainstorms that flood low tunnels, a hunting spider and the odd lawn mower.
