Features: • Read from Ardour's own binding file, not from a wiki page • Both platforms, with Ardour's abstract modifiers resolved from its build script • Folders mirror Ardour's own shortcut groups, which is what disambiguates the keys • A full MIDI note editor page: transpose, quantize, velocities, note splits • A distinct icon on all 201 keys
Install: double-click any .streamDeckProfile to import. The App binding is pre-filled to Ardour — auto-activates on focus. If it didn't pre-fill, set it manually under Stream Deck → Preferences → Profiles → App.
Also included: the 603-icon Ardour icon pack (201 icons in 3 finishes), as a .streamDeckIconPack you can install with a double-click. Every key in this profile, available to drop on any action you like.

Setup (required for some keys)
Folders mirror Ardour own shortcut groups, and that matters more here than anywhere. Ardour reuses keys hard across contexts: Q is previous marker in the editor but Quantize in the MIDI editor, V is the region sync point in one and note velocities in the other, S splits a region and also splits notes. Use the folder that matches the window you are in.
Ardour modifiers are abstract, and they are not the same on the two platforms. Its binding file writes PRIMARY, SECONDARY, TERTIARY rather than actual keys. Ardour’s own build script resolves PRIMARY to Ctrl on Windows and Cmd on macOS — but SECONDARY to Alt on Windows and Ctrl on macOS. So a shortcut printed Alt+M on Windows is Ctrl+M on a Mac, and that is correct, not a mistake.
Redo is on three keys and this profile ships one. Ardour accepts Ctrl+Y, Ctrl+R and Ctrl+Shift+Z for redo. Ctrl+Y ships; the other two stay free for whatever you want.
Super key shortcuts are not included. Ardour’s LEVEL4 modifier is the Windows key, which the OS intercepts before the app ever sees it.
The macOS app path carries the major version, and that is Ardour doing. Its packaging script builds the bundle as Ardour9.app, not Ardour.app, so that is what Smart Profile targets here. When Ardour 10 lands the folder name changes with it — repoint the profile from the Stream Deck app’s Application dropdown, or the profile will simply stop auto-activating.
First release. 201 bindings across twelve folders: Transport, Session, Edit, Regions, Select, View, Playhead, Tools, Windows, MIDI, Workflows and Help.
This one was not transcribed. Ardour is open source and keeps its keymap in gtk2_ardour/ardour.keys.in, in an unusually good format every line carries a group, an action,
Also left out: the Windows-key bindings, which the OS swallows, and the mouse gestures, which a deck cannot send.
