Setup (required for some keys)

Windows only — Inventor ships no macOS build.

The multi-character aliases (CH, SW, LO, MI, RP, TR, CP, ODS, LE, FC, BDA, S3, RO) need default multicharacter Command Aliases enabled. Tools tab > Options panel > Customize > Keyboard. Autodesk’s own reference carries the same caveat.

One key, one environment. Inventor reuses letters across modes — C is Center Point Circle while sketching and Constraint in an assembly, D is General Dimension in a sketch and Face Draft in a part, T is Text in a sketch and Tweak Components in a presentation. Each one lives in its own folder here, so the folder you are in is the environment you are in.

None of these apply if you have imported other definitions or edited Inventor’s.

The thing no other profile does: Inventor's command aliases are typed letter SEQUENCES, not modifier combos. CH for chamfer, SW for sweep, LO for loft, MI for mirror, RP for rectangular pattern, TR for trim, CP for circular pattern, S3 for 3D sketch, RO for rotate component, LE for leader, FC for feature control frame, BDA for baseline dimensions, ODS for ordinate dimensions. All thirteen ship as real multi-key sequences, so one tap types the alias.
