BeatMyLand.ing Live Traffic

Put a live Microsoft Flight Simulator landing board on your CORSAIR VANGUARD 96 keyboard LCD. This free iCUE widget from BeatMyLand.ing shows real landings from the community as they are scored, updating on its own while you fly, with no clicks and nothing to configure.

Each row shows the time, the pilot, the airport and the touchdown rate in feet per minute — so your keyboard screen becomes a live arrivals board for the whole community. Only scored landings appear, so every line is a rate you can compare.

HOW IT WORKS

Import the widget in iCUE, select it for your device screen, and it does the rest. It reads the public BeatMyLand.ing landing feed and refreshes every 30 seconds. The dot beside the clock shows the connection is alive — amber while data is arriving, red if the feed goes quiet.

Your keyboard keeps everything it already does — the rotary dial, FN shortcuts, function icons and RGB lighting are untouched, because the widget only draws to the LCD.

ALLOWING THE CONNECTION

iCUE asks once for permission to reach beatmyland.ing. It appears as a notification for just a few seconds, so it is easy to miss.

If the board stays empty, quit iCUE completely from the system tray — not just closing the window — then start it again and watch the bottom-right corner for the permission notification. Allow it, and landings appear within half a minute.

• A device with an LCD screen: VANGUARD 96, VANGUARD PRO 96, XENEON EDGE, or iCUE LINK XC7/XD5 ELITE LCD

Fixed: the board stopped loading on recent iCUE versions. The widget used to open the BeatMyLand.ing board directly. iCUE no longer lets a widget load an external page, so the panel went blank or showed an access error. It now reads the landing data and draws the board itself, which also means it no longer waits on the website’s page, styling or fonts to appear.
