Better Audio Mixer

Your audio mix, on the dials.

Better Audio Mixer brings the Windows volume mixer to your Stream Deck +. Assign an application or a microphone to a dial, turn it to set the volume, press it to mute. No more alt-tabbing to the Windows volume mixer mid-game or mid-call.

FEATURES

• Speed-sensitive dial: turn slowly for 1 % precision, turn fast to sweep the whole range in a second.

• Press the dial or tap the touch strip to mute or unmute.

• Control any open application: music, games, browsers, Discord, OBS…

• Control input devices such as microphones (whole device volume).

• Put several applications on one dial: they all follow the same level.

• Live sync: changes made in the Windows volume mixer appear on the dial.

• Clear touch strip: title, active app, large volume value and level bar, with Muted, Inactive and No app states. Minimal, Swiss-inspired design.

HOW TO USE

1. Drag the Mixer action onto a dial.

2. Choose an application or input from the list (grouped by Playing audio, Inputs and Other applications). Use + Add for more sources.

3. Set a title in the standard Stream Deck Title field (optional).

REQUIREMENTS

• Windows 10 or later

• Stream Deck 7.1 or later

• Stream Deck + (dials and touch strip)

GOOD TO KNOW

• Applications running only in the system tray appear in the list while they play audio.

• With several sources on one dial, the touch strip shows the volume of the first active source.

AI tools were used to help write the plugin's code and this description. All features were designed, tested and verified by the author on a real Stream Deck +.
