CamView

Overview

CamView — Keep your camera in view.

Bring a live camera feed to your Corsair iCUE display. Watch a workshop, check a 3D print or keep an overhead camera beside your game, with a dark interface and your choice of accent colour.

YOUR CAMERA, YOUR VIEW

• USB webcams and virtual cameras, where camera access is available in the iCUE host.

• Direct HTTP/HTTPS MJPEG streams from compatible cameras and local gateways.

• Snapshot polling for cameras that provide a compatible still-image endpoint.

• Cover, Contain and Stretch framing, plus digital pan and zoom on touch displays.

MADE FOR YOUR SETUP

Use CamView on the 14.5-inch Corsair XENEON EDGE, compatible iCUE Dashboard cards, circular LCD pump caps and keyboard LCDs. Enable round display mode to keep the image inside a circular frame. Use the interactive CamView edition for EDGE/Dashboard. Install the display-only CamView LCD companion for pump and keyboard LCDs, which iCUE excludes from interactive widgets. Configure that edition through native iCUE settings; it uses the default USB camera and has no touch controls. Widget availability depends on your hardware and iCUE version.

TOUCH TO TAKE CONTROL

Tap XENEON EDGE to reveal controls, change the fit, cycle USB cameras or reconnect a network feed, and pause or resume the source. The controls fade after four seconds. The optional overlay shows source status, resolution and available frame-rate information. Digital pan and zoom adjust the displayed image; they do not move your camera.

TWELVE LANGUAGES

Settings and on-screen text support English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Ukrainian. CamView follows iCUE automatically, with an optional display-language override for widget text.

QUICK SETUP

1. Install CamView through Elgato Marketplace, or import the downloaded .icuewidget file using + in iCUE's widgets section.

2. Add it to your compatible display and open its settings.

3. Select USB / Virtual Webcam, or choose a network source and paste its direct stream or snapshot URL.

4. Choose your fit, accent colour and overlay preferences.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPATIBILITY

Windows; iCUE 5.52+ and widget framework 1.9.0+; a compatible iCUE LCD; and a camera source. USB capture depends on Windows permissions, drivers and camera support in iCUE's embedded browser. If USB access is blocked, use a compatible network endpoint. Audio capture is disabled.

A camera's login page is not a stream URL. Snapshot endpoints must permit cross-origin image access; polling is capped at 20 FPS. RTSP cameras need a local gateway that supplies MJPEG or snapshots; a go2rtc example is included in the setup guide. Raw RTSP, HLS and WebRTC player pages are not direct inputs. Keep camera credentials in your gateway rather than the widget URL.

CamView displays one source per instance and does not record video or provide security alerts. Frame rate and resource use depend on your source, network, gateway and hardware. Pause stops the source; hidden pages suspend their sources and reconnect when visible. MJPEG playback rate is set by the camera or gateway.
