Cave Nexus Edge

Cave Nexus Edge turns your CORSAIR XENEON EDGE into a calm, creator-focused studio dashboard: your tasks, your work time, what is playing and quick controls for your PC, all on one 2560x720 touch screen. It sits under your main monitor all day without shouting for attention.

TASKS

Add tasks with a due date, duration and priority. Start typing and your past tasks are suggested, so repeat jobs take one tap. Pick a duration from presets (15 min to 16h) or type your own. A calendar marks the days that have tasks and opens that day's list when you tap it. Deleting asks first, then offers Undo.

WORK SESSIONS

Press play on any task to start its timer. The task's duration becomes your goal and its name shows under the timer. When time is up the timer flashes for a minute, then keeps counting until you stop. Pause, take timed breaks with optional reminders, and COMPLETE (or tick the task off) to save it. Press play again later and it picks up where it left off. It keeps time through restarts, sleep and iCUE reloads.

TASKS WINDOW

One list for what you have lined up and what you have done. Tasks you have not started yet sit at the top, soonest due first, each with START to put it on the timer; below them every task you have ticked off and every saved session, with its date, start and end time, time worked and breaks, and CONTINUE to pick one back up. Above it, your current session and your hours worked. One tap copies the whole table for Excel, Google Sheets or Notepad.

MEDIA

Title, artist, app and artwork, a progress bar you can drag, previous, play/pause, next and volume, and 28 bars that move with whatever your PC is playing, in a colour of their own.

QUICK CONTROLS

Mute, mic mute, Switch Sound (tap for the next output, hold for the full list), Lock, Restart, Shutdown and Task Manager (Lock is one tap; Restart and Shutdown are press-and-hold, so a stray touch cannot end your session), up to twelve shortcuts of your own to launch programs, folders or web addresses, six to a page, in any order, a kitchen timer that remembers the timers you set and rings until you stop or postpone it, Movie Mode (dims the whole dashboard for film night, tap to restore), and swiping left or right to change iCUE pages using the shortcuts you set in iCUE Screen Setup.

MAKE IT YOURS

Colours are set in iCUE. Pick any accent colour and the whole dashboard is tuned to match, or set your own text, background, button and visualizer colours, in iCUE's Widgets settings; every change shows straight away. Background transparency fades the background and panels, never the text. The writing and icons on a button are worked out from the colour behind them, so a label stays readable whatever fill you pick, while the fill itself is used exactly as you chose it. In the dashboard's own Options: 12 or 24-hour clock, Movie Mode brightness, the timer's alarm volume, work goal and break settings, your Tasks list, Open iCUE, the Tom's Cave shop, and Reset all data with a second confirmation.

SETUP (ABOUT 2 MINUTES)

Step 1: Add Cave Nexus Edge to your XENEON EDGE in iCUE.

Step 2: Install the free Cave Nexus Edge Bridge from the link below. It starts with Windows, runs quietly, and powers audio and media control, the visualizer, your shortcuts, PC Controls (Lock, Restart, Shutdown, Task Manager) and swiping between iCUE pages. Tasks, work sessions, the kitchen timer, the clock and colours all work without it.

Step 3: Allow Speaker under iCUE Widget Access: until you do, the alarm is silent.

Step 4: For page swiping, set Previous Display Screen and Next Display Screen in iCUE Screen Setup.

REQUIREMENTS

Windows, iCUE 5.47 or later and a CORSAIR XENEON EDGE. The bridge talks only to your own PC (127.0.0.1). No account, no telemetry, no tracking.

GOOD TO KNOW

Browsers report all their tabs to Windows as one media source, so two tabs in the same browser count once.
