Cave Studio Edge

Cave Studio Edge turns your CORSAIR XENEON EDGE into a calm, creator-focused studio dashboard: your tasks, your work time, what is playing and how your PC is doing, all on one 2560x720 touch screen. It sits under your main monitor all day without shouting for attention.

TASKS

Add tasks with a due date, duration and priority. Start typing and your past tasks are suggested, so repeat jobs take one tap. Pick a duration from presets (15 min to 16h) or type your own. A calendar shows which days have work and filters the list. Saving a task that is already booked for that day warns you first. Deleting asks first, then offers Undo. Totals show open and completed tasks, hours worked and today.

WORK SESSIONS

Press play on any task to start its timer. The task's duration becomes your goal and its name shows under the timer. When time is up the timer flashes for a minute, then keeps counting until you stop. Pause, take timed breaks with optional reminders, and End Session (or tick the task off) to save it. Press play again later and it picks up where it left off. It keeps time through restarts, sleep and iCUE reloads.

SESSION HISTORY

Every session is saved with its date, start and end time, the task it was for, time worked and breaks, and CONTINUE picks one back up.

MEDIA

Title, artist, app and artwork, a progress bar you can drag, previous, play/pause, next and volume. If two apps are playing, switch which one the controls follow.

SYSTEM

Live CPU, GPU, RAM and network speeds with small history graphs. CPU and GPU work as soon as the widget is added, from iCUE's own sensors, on Intel or AMD processors and NVIDIA, AMD or Intel graphics, including multi-GPU PCs. Every reading also has a source setting in iCUE, starting on Automatic, if you would rather pick the sensor yourself. RAM and network speeds come from the free bridge below, because iCUE has no sensors for them. A reading with no source says so and points at the setting that fixes it, and Options names the source behind every figure.

QUICK CONTROLS

Mute, mic mute, Switch Sound (next output), Sound Source (pick an output), Movie Mode (dims the whole dashboard for film night, tap to restore), Windows notifications (tap to open or close, with a count), Show desktop, a button that switches your XENEON EDGE display mode, and swiping left or right to change iCUE pages. The display and page controls use the shortcuts you set in iCUE Screen Setup.

MAKE IT YOURS

Colours are set in iCUE, alongside every other widget. Pick any accent colour and the whole dashboard is tuned to match, or set your own text and background too, in iCUE's Widgets settings; every change shows straight away. Background transparency fades the background and panels, never the text. Whatever you choose is checked for readability and corrected before it is applied, so the dashboard stays legible. In the dashboard's own Options: 12 or 24-hour clock, adjustable Movie Mode brightness, Open iCUE, and Reset all data with a second confirmation.

SETUP (ABOUT 2 MINUTES)

Step 1: Add Cave Studio Edge to your XENEON EDGE in iCUE.

Step 2: Install the free Cave Studio Edge Bridge from the link below. It starts with Windows, runs quietly, and powers audio, media details, RAM and network readings, notifications and the screen controls. Tasks, work sessions, the clock, colours and the CPU and GPU readings all work without it.

Step 3: For page swiping and the display-mode button, set Switch Display Mode, Previous Display Screen and Next Display Screen in iCUE Screen Setup.

REQUIREMENTS

Windows, iCUE 5.47 or later and a CORSAIR XENEON EDGE. The bridge talks only to your own PC (127.0.0.1). No account, no telemetry, no tracking.

GOOD TO KNOW

Browsers report all their tabs to Windows as one media source, so two tabs in the same browser count once.
