CHESS//EDGE by iConCity is a purpose-built chess experience designed specifically for the ultra-wide CORSAIR XENEON EDGE touchscreen — combining a striking interactive 3D chess board with a beautifully clean Classic 2D mode.

This isn't a desktop chess game squeezed onto a smaller screen.

The entire interface has been designed around the XENEON EDGE: large touch targets, clear game information, dedicated controls, move history, chess clocks and a centre-stage board designed to make the most of the 2560×720 display.

And the real star is the 3D board.

A CHESS BOARD YOU CAN ACTUALLY EXPLORE

Play with beautifully rendered gold and graphite chess pieces on a fully interactive 3D board.

Use a single finger to move around the board naturally.

Drag left or right to rotate around the position. Drag vertically to raise or lower your viewing angle. Move diagonally to combine both movements.

Want to get closer?

Pinch with two fingers to zoom in and out.

Using a mouse? Drag to orbit and use your mouse wheel to zoom.

Vertical movement is safely limited so the board never flips underneath or ends up upside down.

CHESS//EDGE remembers your preferred 3D viewing position too.

Tap TOP VIEW for an instant overhead perspective, then tap 3D VIEW to return to your previous 3D angle.

CLASSIC 2D CHESS

Sometimes you just want the board.

Tap CLASSIC and CHESS//EDGE switches instantly to a crisp traditional 2D chess layout featuring the same gold and graphite visual identity.

That means you can enjoy the atmosphere of the full 3D board, then switch to a clean tactical overhead board whenever you want absolute clarity.

PLAY AGAINST THE COMPUTER

Choose VS COMPUTER and select your challenge:

Easy Medium Hard

The computer doesn't simply make every move instantly either.

CHESS//EDGE gives the AI a natural thinking period appropriate to its difficulty level, and that thinking time is deducted from its chess clock just like yours.

LOCAL TWO-PLAYER CHESS

Prefer playing against somebody sitting next to you?

Switch to LOCAL 2P and use CHESS//EDGE as a complete two-player chess board directly on your XENEON EDGE.

REAL CHESS CLOCKS

Enable the integrated 10-minute chess clocks for a faster, more competitive game.

Each player gets ten minutes for the entire match, with only the active player's clock counting down.

MOVE HISTORY

Every move is recorded in the dedicated Move History panel, giving you a clear running record of the game as it develops.
