Overview

Supers for OBS Studio are another word for Callouts or Lower Thirds, which can be used to share key information, a call to action, or a stream announcement on your live broadcasts. Supers allow for endless customization to bring another level of immersion and thoughtful design to your experiences. The best part is that you can customize your Super depending on the purpose, game and style of your broadcast with the easy customization features right within OBS studio.

This Super does not support macOS or Streamlabs Desktop.

Setup instructions:

  1. Save the Super files to your computer

  2. Open OBS Studio, go to Tools, and select Scripts

  3. Select the Add Scripts button

  4. Locate your Super and open the LUA file

  5. Select Import

  6. (Optional) Add your Supers to an existing scene

  7. Make any adjustments to your Supers using the live preview while changing any of the customizations in the Scripts panel

  8. Close the Scripts tool

How to assign hotkeys in OBS and Stream Deck:

  1. In OBS Studio, go to Settings then select the Hotkeys tab

  2. Enter “Super” in the search bar to filter results

  3. Locate your Super and the action you want to assign

  4. Enter a custom key combination in the hotkey field

  5. Select OK to save changes

  6. Open Stream Deck, then drag a hotkey action onto any key

  7. In the Hotkey field, enter the same key combination you assigned in OBS

  8. Now each time that key is pressed, your Super should react
