Codex Usage
by Tiltti
Overview
Codex Usage turns your Stream Deck into a local dashboard for recorded Codex limits, reset times, token history and activity: 14 focused actions plus connected Deck Wall views.
How it works
The plugin reads usage measurements and session history already stored by Codex on your Mac. No API key, account sign-in, credential-file access or plugin network request is needed. Add the actions you want, then choose a quota, model, trend window or visual style in Stream Deck. Keys refresh automatically; tap quota keys to cycle Bar, Ring and Full views, or hold to refresh.
What's included
Session, weekly and model-specific quota keys with reset countdowns
Usage Overview for all recorded limits on one key
Burn Rate and Time to Cap forecasts with restart-safe recent history
Cost Estimate using API-equivalent prices, not your subscription bill
Model Comparison, project breakdown and recent activity
Usage History sparklines plus weekly and rolling-month heatmaps
Deck Wall dashboards spanning adjacent keys
Bar, Ring and Full quota styles
Settings and offline help in English, Finnish, Swedish, German, French and Spanish
Requires macOS 13+, Stream Deck 6.9+ and local Codex session data. Available quotas depend on what Codex records; missing or stale measurements are labelled clearly. Windows is not supported in this release.
