Monitoring
Cooldown
by Springe Labs
Overview
Cooldown shows your Claude usage on three Stream Deck keys: Reset Countdown (time left until your five-hour window resets; press for the exact time), Usage Meter (a ring of how much of the window you have used) and Weekly Limit (countdown to the weekly reset with the share of the week's allowance used).
Install the free Cooldown companion add-on for Claude Code (works in the terminal and in the Claude desktop app's Code tab) from a terminal with claude plugin marketplace add BrawnyBravo/cooldown-companion and then claude plugin install cooldown-usage-feed@cooldown-companion. It writes Claude Code's own usage figures to one file on this computer, and Cooldown reads that file.
The five-hour and weekly figures come from Claude Code itself, through the Cooldown companion add-on for Claude Code; without it, the five-hour figure comes from the last figure the Claude desktop app saved on this computer, shown with its age, and the weekly figure needs the companion. A report older than five minutes is also shown with its age. With neither, the Reset Countdown shows an estimate marked EST and the other two keys a comparison with your own recent activity, marked LOCAL.
Cooldown never reads or changes your Claude sign-in and sends nothing over the internet. It is not made by or affiliated with Anthropic.
Cooldown runs on Windows 10 and later; it is not available for Mac.
First release: Reset Countdown, Usage Meter and Weekly Limit keys.
