Setup (required for some keys)

THE CHEAT TILES NEED DEBUG MODE. Crusader Kings III disables its console by default: add -debug_mode to the game’s launch options (Steam: right-click the game → Properties → Launch Options; GOG: Settings → command line arguments → debug_mode), or use the launcher’s “Open game in Debug Mode”. Without it the twelve Cheats tiles do nothing.

Debug mode disables achievements for that session. Paradox restores them once you remove the flag and any mods.

The console key is keyboard-layout dependent. The tiles send the backtick/grave key, which is correct on QWERTY. On AZERTY and other layouts the game may instead use Shift+2, §, ², ^ or °, and Shift+Alt+C works as a universal fallback — rebind the consoleKey on the tiles if yours differs.

Two ordinary keys are deliberately absent. The console-open key itself is redundant now that the Cheats tiles carry it, and the Steam overlay screenshot (F12) duplicates the in-game one on F11.

Crusader Kings III lets you rebind everything; this profile assumes the default layout. Paradox ships the authoritative list at ck3.paradoxwikis.com/Keyboard_shortcuts and the command list at ck3.paradoxwikis.com/Console_commands.
