Dark Mode

Switch your Mac or Windows PC between light and dark mode with a single key. The key always shows the current mode, so it stays correct when the appearance changes from System Settings, Windows Settings, or an automatic schedule. In a Multi Action, choose Light or Dark to set that mode instead of toggling, which is handy for routines.

Key features:

Live state: the key follows mode changes made outside Stream Deck within a couple of seconds

Uses the same setting as System Settings → Appearance on macOS and Settings → Personalization → Colors on Windows

Requirements:

Stream Deck 7.1 or later

macOS 12 or later, or Windows 10 or later

Troubleshoot:

On macOS, the first press asks for permission to control System Events. Click OK. If you clicked Don't Allow, enable Stream Deck in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation.

On Windows, if the key doesn't show the current mode at first, change the mode once in Settings → Personalization → Colors.
