Dicompass Gateway

Reading a study means reaching for a tool, then another, then back to the image. This plugin puts the Dicompass Gateway (DPGW) medical imaging viewer on your Stream Deck, so measurements, windowing, series and volume tools, hanging protocols, and remote consultation are one press away.

What goes on a key

Fifteen actions cover the viewer's menus: Measurement, View, Series, Volume, Remote consultation, and Other. You set a key up by picking one of 160+ viewer commands from a grouped list.

Hanging Protocol keys fill with the protocols that match the open study, and you can page through them.

Switch Profile, Hide panels, Lock OSD, Toolbar, Archive search, Timeline, and Bug report each get their own key.

A Status key shows whether a viewer is connected.

On the device

Key icons follow the viewer. The active tool lights up, an unavailable one dims, and a rejected command shows Stream Deck's alert. Eight profiles ship with the plugin (Main, Measurements, View, Series, Volume, Hanging protocols, Remote consultation, Other), so the device is laid out before you touch it.

The plugin talks to the viewer over a local loopback connection. No patient data passes through it.

Requirements

Stream Deck app 7.1 or newer, on Windows 10+ or macOS 12+
