DmDraft Soundboard

DmDraft Soundboard turns a Stream Deck into the sound desk of your tabletop role-playing session.

It is the official plugin of DmDraft, the web app for Dungeon Masters, and it drives the soundboard on the Sounds page of your own DmDraft account: one press starts a scene, silences the table, or fades it out, without leaving the game to reach for a browser tab.

Actions

Preset: start every sound of a saved scene together

Single sound: toggle one sound of the catalogue on its mixer channel

Fade out: bring the whole table down smoothly instead of cutting it

Stop everything: silence every channel with one press

Channel volume: step ambience, effects or music up and down

Also in the download

A ready-made profile for Mini, Standard, XL, Neo, Plus and Mobile, offered on the first install and reloadable from the configurator at any time

Keys that show the state of the table: equaliser bars while a sound plays, a dimmed face during a fade, a dot when the browser console is closed

A configurator in English and Italian, with an icon picker for every key

Requirements

A DmDraft account, with the Sounds page open in a browser: that page is the audio output, the deck is the remote

Stream Deck app 6.9 or later, macOS 12 or Windows 10 and up

Setup

on the Sounds page create a device token,

paste the DmDraft address and that token into any DmDraft key, press Verify connection. Saved once, shared by every key.

Lighter but more powerful on the DmDraft server when you are not playing.

With the DmDraft console closed, the plugin now checks once a minute if the connection is active. It also slows down to once a minute if your connection is no longer valid, or if DmDraft answers with a server error, until a normal answer returns.

When you open the Sounds page in DmDraft, your keys light up again within a minute.

With the console open, the keys still follow it every 3 seconds, and a key press is reflected right away.

DmDraft can now recognize this plugin version automatically. The plugin sends only its version number, nothing else.

No new settings: your connection and your keys stay as they are.
