Edge News turns your XENEON EDGE into a live, touch-friendly news desk. It gathers the latest headlines from 232 publishers and 104 Google News editions across 87 countries, groups the same story from different outlets, and ranks it by how widely it is being covered — so the stories that matter most rise to the top, without one country drowning out the rest.

WORLD COVERAGE, BALANCED

• Local news from everywhere: major international outlets plus regional papers such as Khaleej Times, Gulf News, The National, Dawn, The Hindu, Daily Maverick, Kyiv Independent, Bangkok Post and many more.

• English local news for countries whose Google edition isn't in English — including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Türkiye, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Bangladesh — plus every country's own-language edition.

• World balance mixes countries so no single one fills your screen, while your own regions always come first.

• Global tab: the stories leading front pages around the world, ranked by how many countries are carrying them.

• Recent searches are kept, and any search can be followed with one tap.

MAKE IT YOURS

• Choose your regions and topics, switch individual sources on or off, or turn on every region or every source with one tap.

• Add any source: search an outlet by name, or paste a website and Edge News finds its news feeds — or reads it through Google News if the site has none. Paste a feed link to add it directly.

• Follow people, teams, companies or subjects to get a Following tab and lift those stories higher.

• Mute words you never want to see, and hide individual outlets.

• Save stories for later, and stories you've read are dimmed.

BUILT FOR THE EDGE

• Layouts adapt to the widget size: a full dashboard with a rotating featured story and a scrolling headline bar, a headline list, a card strip, or one story at a time for small widgets.

• Tap a story for its summary and full coverage from every outlet reporting it, then open the article in your PC's browser.

WORKS BEST WITH EDGE DOCK HELPER

Many news sites don't allow widgets to read their feeds directly. The Edge Dock Helper companion app reads every source for Edge News, finds feeds on websites you paste, and opens articles in your browser. Without it, Edge News still works using a public feed service, with fewer stories from some sources.

Privacy: Edge News has no account and no tracking. Your choices are stored on your PC. Feeds are fetched directly from publishers and Google News; source logos are loaded from Google's favicon service and can be turned off.
