Take command of your ship with an immersive and highly customizable XENEON EDGE cockpit interface for Elite Dangerous.

Elite Dangerous Command Deck transforms your touchscreen into a dedicated control center for throttle management, cockpit panels, targeting, weapons, utility systems, power distribution, ship status, and frequently used commands.

Command Interface

The interface is divided into three integrated sections:

A nine-position touch-and-swipe throttle ranging from full reverse to full forward speed, with illuminated chevrons, scroll-wheel support, a reversible layout, and dedicated Boost control.

A central display providing access to the External, Comms, Role, and Internal cockpit panels.

An interactive ship hologram providing access to Weapons, Utility, and Power control banks.

Each control bank supports up to twelve commands, providing 36 customizable controls. The included layout covers targeting, hardpoints, weapon groups, landing gear, lights, Frame Shift Drive, cargo functions, flight assist, power distribution, and more.

Live Ship Information

The widget connects to the Respawn Companion Elite Dangerous Module to display current journal and ship-status information, including:

Commander, location, and mission information

Hull, fuel, shield, and cargo status

Mass lock, landing gear, and cargo scoop indicators

Active cockpit panel selection

Toggle and control-state feedback

Connection and update status

Reactive Effects

Optional effects respond to in-game events, including:

A full-widget Frame Shift Drive tunnel animation

Animated fire when your ship overheats

Warning presentation within the central display

Animated backgrounds, holographic elements, illuminated throttle states, and responsive button feedback

Animations can be disabled through the Companion Module for improved performance.

Themes and Customization

Choose from multiple built-in themes, including Elite Orange, Combat Red, Hot Pink, Imperial Violet, Holographic Blue, and additional styles. Individual customization overrides the selected theme, allowing themes to serve as flexible starting points.

Upload custom PNG images or animated GIFs for controls, toggled states, panel icons, map buttons, the ship hologram, and widget background.

Each of the 36 controls can be renamed, recolored, assigned custom artwork, converted into a toggle, rearranged, or hidden. Visible controls automatically reorganize to use the available space.

Landscape layouts are included for different XENEON EDGE mounting orientations.

Respawn Companion Integration

The required Respawn Nexus application and Elite Dangerous Module provide:

Automatic or manual journal detection

Configurable keyboard commands and modifiers

Game-binding validation

Control rearrangement

Animation settings

Widget and module compatibility checks

Update notifications

Direct module updates with visible download progress

The Companion can start with Windows and automatically reopen your most recently used game module.

Required Download

This widget requires the free Respawn Nexus application.

Install Respawn Nexus using the Related Download link, open its Game Library, and install the Elite Dangerous Module. Respawn Nexus, iCUE, software must remain running (runs in background) for touchscreen commands and live information to function.
