LEARN — Two Seconds to Calibration

Hit LEARN, stay silent for two seconds while EXN0ISE maps your noise floor, then speak for two seconds while it analyses your voice level and SNR. The plugin sets threshold and gain reduction automatically based on your exact environment. No manual sweeping of frequency bands. No trial and error. One button, four seconds, done.

SIGNAL MONITOR

A real-time waveform display shows your input signal against the calibrated threshold line at all times. Watch the gain reduction meter respond in real time as the gate opens and closes. You always know exactly what the plugin is doing and why.

PRECISION CONTROL

For those who want to go deeper: adjustable attack, release, hold, and ratio give you full control over the gate's timing and character. A high-pass sidechain filter keeps low-frequency rumble from keeping the gate open during silence. Lookahead mode adds seven milliseconds of forward analysis so the gate opens before transients arrive, preventing the first milliseconds of every word from potentially being clipped.

Choose between RMS detection for smooth, average-energy sensing that matches how humans perceive loudness, or peak detection for faster, transient-accurate response.

EXN0ISE processes stereo in full dual-channel operation and introduces no measurable latency by default. It loads on any microphone, in any DAW or streaming host, and requires no configuration to deliver a noticeably cleaner signal from the moment it is active.
