Herdr Deck
Overview
Herdr Deck puts your Herdr coding agents on Stream Deck keys, and tells you which ones are really done.
Every key is a live workspace: name, repository and branch on a solid colour you can read from across the room. Green focused, yellow working, red needs you. Press a key to jump to that workspace and bring your terminal to the front.

Herdr Space fills your keys with workspaces in a stable order. More workspaces than keys? The last two become ←/→ pagers.
Agent Summary counts every agent by state on one key, as a ring or a list. Press it to jump to the agent that needs you most, blocked first.
New Herdr Space opens a fresh workspace.
Drive agents without switching windows
Slash Command and Send Text submit a command or a phrase.
Send Keys sends key presses; out of the box it's esc, an interrupt button.
Cycle steps through values, like /model opus → sonnet → haiku.
New Tab opens a tab in the folder you're working in, or one you choose.
Each control key goes to the agent you're focused on, or to a workspace you pin it to, and shows its target on the key. Nothing is ever typed into an agent waiting at a permission prompt; esc still gets through.
Updates stream from Herdr's local socket in well under a second, and nothing leaves your machine. Works with every agent Herdr detects: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, opencode, Pi and more. Runs in the Elgato Stream Deck app and in OpenDeck. Open source under Apache-2.0; try the interactive demo at deck.resilientsoftware.co.uk.
Requires macOS, Stream Deck 7.1 or later, and Herdr 0.8.2 or later. Not an official Herdr or Elgato product.
Optionally, works well with herdr-agent-status plugin:
Agents often go quiet while subagents, background shells or a scheduled loop keep running. Alongside the herdr-agent-activity plugin, Herdr Deck shows that work:
Blue: still busy in the background, with an icon and a count for each kind of work: subagents, background shells, monitors
Dark mauve: waiting on a timer, with a live countdown such as 17M
So a plain key really means finished.
Agent activity: blue keys for agents still busy in the background, with an icon and count for subagents, background shells and monitors; dark mauve keys with a countdown for scheduled checks (needs herdr-agent-activity)
Agent Summary: counts agents by state as a ring or a list; press to jump to the one that needs you, blocked first
Slash Command, Send Text, Send Keys, Cycle and New Tab: drive the focused agent, or pin a key to a workspace; nothing is typed into an agent waiting at a permission prompt
Requires Herdr 0.8.2 or later
