HiFi Control
by HiFi Control
Overview
HiFi Control plugin connects Stream Deck to your networked audio system and gives you direct control over the devices in your rack. It supports three ecosystems in one plugin: BluOS (Bluesound, NAD, DALI, Monitor Audio, Roksan, Cyrus Audio), HEOS (Denon, Marantz), and MusicCast (Yamaha). If you have devices from more than one of these brands on your network, you control all of them from the same Stream Deck.
The plugin works with the HiFi Control desktop application for Windows, which handles device discovery and the connections to your equipment. Once HiFi Control is running, the plugin actions appear in Stream Deck app and you assign them to keys and dials like any other plugin.
Actions
Volume. Adjust the volume of any connected amplifier, streamer, or speaker. On Stream Deck + and Stream Deck + XL, assign volume to a dial and turn it like a physical pot — press to mute, rotate to adjust. On standard Stream Deck, configure step size to taste.
Input source. Switch the active input on your amplifier with a single press. Useful when you move between turntable, streamer, and TV without reaching for the remote.
Playback. Play, pause, skip forward, and skip back on the active streamer. Works the same way regardless of which ecosystem the device belongs to.
Now Playing. Show the currently playing track and artist on the touch strip of Stream Deck +, with album art on the LCD where available.
Recall a preset. Trigger a HiFi Control preset from a single key. A preset can include actions across multiple devices and ecosystems. For example, switch your amplifier to the streamer input, set the volume to a known level, load a Dirac profile, and start a playlist, all from one press.
Switch Dirac Live profiles. For Bluesound and NAD devices with Dirac Live, switch between room correction profiles directly. Useful for A/B comparisons or for matching the profile to where you are sitting.
Mute toggle. Mute or unmute the active amplifier with a key. Key state updates to reflect the current mute state, so you can see at a glance whether the system is muted.
Stream Deck + and Stream Deck + XL
The dials are well suited to volume on amplifier-class hardware: rotation maps to dB changes with smooth steps. If you use HiFi Control's per-device maximum volume setting, the dial respects it.
