Home Keys for Mac

Control your home from Stream Deck on your Mac. Home Keys runs your own Apple Shortcuts, so every scene, light, plug, fan, blind, lock and sensor you have in the Apple Home app — or in any smart-home app with Shortcuts actions on your Mac — gets its own key, with no hub, no bridge and no account. Works with HomeKit and Matter accessories you have added to Apple Home.

Run Shortcut keys fire scenes like Good Morning, Movie Time or Leave Home. Hold-to-run keeps doors, locks and garage doors from opening on a stray tap.

On / Off keys glow when a light is on and dim when it is off. Use one shortcut to switch on and one to switch off, or a single toggle shortcut; add a status shortcut and the key stays right even when Siri or the Home app switch the light. Hold the key to re-sync it.

Level Dials on Stream Deck + and + XL set brightness, temperature, blinds, volume or fan speed: turn to change, press to switch on or off, and the level is sent once when you stop turning. Level Up / Down keys do the same on every Stream Deck, and a dial and keys in the same group always agree. Works with Apple Home actions directly (one shortcut per level, such as "Lamp 25", "Lamp 50") or with one shortcut that takes the number.

Show Status keys display what a shortcut answers — a temperature, humidity, "Locked" — refreshed every 10 seconds to 15 minutes.

98 original home icons drawn for this plugin, each with an on and off look, in four colourways (Aurora, Sunset, Ocean, Midnight), including Indian homes: geyser, pooja light, ceiling clothes rack. Your shortcut list is grouped by your Shortcuts folders, with Test now, Edit in Shortcuts and New shortcut buttons in every key's settings, plus an interactive setup guide.

Requires macOS 12 or later and Stream Deck 7.1 or later. Mac only (Apple Shortcuts is not available on Windows). No internet access, no account, no data collection.
