InterDirector

Run your live show in InterDirector, the live production and streaming app for the Mac, from your Stream Deck. Switch sources, run graphics, sound and replays, start the stream, and see on every key what is live.

What the eleven actions do:

Transition: Cut, Fade or Dip from Preview to Program

Input: put a source in Preview or on Program, or reload it; red tally on Program, green in Preview

Overlay: show, hide or preview a graphic

Sound: mute, solo, Follow Program and levels, for a source or a mix

Output: start streaming, recording, NDI or an external display; switch stream destinations

Replay: capture, play and select replay clips and buckets

Media: play, pause and step through video and image playlists

Data: move a scoreboard or list to its next, previous or a chosen row

Layer: show or hide a layer of a Composite

Show: Fade to Black, the Auto Director, zoom and position animations

Hotkey: press any hotkey of your Show, in its own colour

How it works: the plugin talks to InterDirector on the same Mac. Drag an action onto a key and choose what it acts on from your Show’s own sources, by name. Each key keeps its choice, so a renamed source keeps its keys and a profile works on another Mac with the same Show.

- Framing presets: keep a source's or a Composite layer's whole framing — position, size, crop, rotation, corners and border — with Save as Preset… in its framing editor, and recall it onto any source or layer from a hotkey, a rule, the Stream Deck's new Framing Preset action, Bitfocus Companion (module 0.1.22) or the control API. The picture glides there over the time you set, or jumps at 0, and a key is lit while the framing matches. Presets are numbered and named, and renamed, put in order, updated and deleted in Show Settings › Framing Presets, and Apply Preset puts one on the picture you are framing. A Show saved with this version opens only in this version or later.
