Jelly Desk

Overview

Jelly Desk is a set of 140 Stream Deck icons that look like glossy gummy candy. Each part of an icon is its own jelly flavor and color, so the head and the handle of a microphone are two different gummies, and some icons add small chrome details. Every icon comes in a light and a dark version, and each version comes as an animated GIF and a static PNG, for 560 icons in total.

The animations act out what the key does. The trash can opens its lid to catch a falling ball and the volume keys send out waves.

The set covers the keys people press every day. For AI assistants there are ask, dictate, summarize, translate, generate image, run agent, approve, stop, regenerate, read aloud, web search, plan mode and thinking on/off. System and audio keys include volume, mute, lock, sleep, screenshot, record screen, Wi-Fi, settings and shut down. Browser and media keys include new tab, back, reload, play, pause and next track. For work there are email, calendar, notes, terminal, code, save, copy, cut, paste, undo, pomodoro, to-do list and spreadsheet. Streams and calls get scene, go live, raid, follow, poll, alerts, push to talk, soundboard, raise hand and leave call, and games get a gamepad, trophy, stopwatch and dice.

There are also 10 jelly critters: a whale, jellyfish, octopus, gummy bear, frog, turtle, snail, fish, crab and caterpillar. Each one moves like the real animal. The frog puffs its throat and hops, the crab walks sideways and snaps a claw, and the gummy bear waves hello. They have no fixed action, so you can put them on folders, profiles or any key you like.

Icons with two states, such as Camera On and Camera Off, come as two separate files, one for each state of the key.

The pack has no logos or brand marks. Every icon is 144 × 144, loops about every 3 seconds and stays under 1 MB.

How it was made: each icon is modeled and rendered in Blender (Cycles) by Python scripts written with AI assistance (Claude). The author set the jelly style and its rules (one flavor per part, motion that shows what the key does), picked the colors and reviewed every icon on a Stream Deck grid. Icons that did not read well at key size went back and were redone before approval.

Requirements: the Stream Deck app and any Stream Deck model.

How to use: double-click the .streamDeckIconPack file or install it from the Marketplace. In the Stream Deck app, open a key's icon menu, pick the Jelly Desk library and search by name or tag, for example "mute", "dark", "animated" or "critter". For two-state actions such as a mute toggle or a Hotkey Switch, set the first icon of the pair on state 1 and the second on state 2, and the key swaps icons each time the state changes. Pairs in the pack: Mic On / Mic Mute, Camera On / Camera Off, Headphones / Deafen, Light On / Light Off, Audio Monitor On / Off, Voice FX On / Off, Alerts On / Off, Thinking On / Off, Do Not Disturb On / Off, Wi-Fi On / Off, Lock / Unlock, Play / Pause, Show Source / Hide Source, Start Stream / End Stream.

First release with 140 jelly icons (130 everyday keys and 10 critters), each in light and dark, animated and static.
