Keep Awake for Windows

A Stream Deck plugin that keeps your Windows PC awake while Claude Code is working, then lets it sleep normally. Or press Keep Awake to prevent sleep for 15 minutes to 4 hours, or until you press it again, with a countdown ring.

Features

AI Agents: shows how many Claude Code sessions are working (such as "AI 2") and blocks sleep only while they work. Sleep returns when a reply finishes or Claude asks you a question

A quiet session (say, at a permission prompt) stops counting after 2 to 30 minutes (you choose)

Keep Awake: press to start, press again to stop

Add Time: each press adds 15, 30 or 60 minutes (up to 8 hours left)

Optional "Keep the screen on too" setting

The keys work together: any one of them can keep the PC awake

When Stream Deck closes, normal sleep returns. Your power plan is never changed

Privacy

Runs entirely on your PC. No account, no online service, no telemetry.

AI Agents looks only at file times and the last entry type in Claude Code's session files. Prompts, replies and code are never kept or sent.

Requirements

Windows 10 or later, Stream Deck app 6.9 or later, Windows PowerShell (built in)

AI Agents: Claude Code on Windows (not WSL). Codex is not supported

Note: one command running longer than the wait time (a long build, say) may let the PC sleep; use Keep Awake then.

New AI Agents action: keeps your Windows PC awake only while Claude Code is working, and lets it sleep normally when a reply finishes or Claude asks you a question. The key shows how many sessions are working (for example "AI 2"). A session that goes quiet, for example waiting for your permission, stops counting after a wait you choose (2 to 30 minutes, 5 by default). It looks only at the times of Claude Code's session files and the kind of their last entry, on your PC; nothing is sent anywhere. Works together with Keep Awake and Add Time: the PC stays awake while any of them wants it.
