Put Krita on your Stream Deck: 132 commands across 13 categories, plus seven Stream Deck + dials that read Krita's real state and show live values on the touch screen.

SEVEN DIALS THAT KNOW WHAT KRITA IS DOING

Most dial plugins fire blind keystrokes. These dials talk to Krita over UI Automation and set absolute values, with the real number on the touch screen:

- Brush Size: log-feel steps, about 8 percent per click, fine steps while pressed. The strip shows the actual size in pixels.

- Brush Opacity: 2 percent per click with the live percentage on the strip.

- Layer Opacity: adjusts the selected layer in the Layers docker, live percentage readout.

- Canvas Rotation: absolute angle writes, 5 degrees per click. Press to snap back to 0. Tap the strip edges for 15 degree jumps.

- Canvas Zoom: turns like the scroll wheel, so Krita zooms at your mouse pointer. Fast spins fold into one smooth zoom.

- Layer Navigation: walk the layer stack, the active layer's name on the strip.

- Brush Preset: cycle your favorite presets by name.

The readouts are honest: when Krita is not running the strip shows a dash, never a stale number. No scripts to install inside Krita, no plugins on the Krita side, nothing to configure. Launch Krita and the dials find it.

EVERY COMMAND A KEY

13 category actions cover 132 Krita commands: File, Edit, Tools, Brush, Layers, Layer Operations, Selection, View, Color, Blend Modes, Presets, Image and Filters, Workspace. Drop a category action on a key, pick the command from a dropdown, and the key art follows automatically. Each command has its own drawn icon.

Remapped your Krita keymap? Every key has a Capture field in the property inspector: press your combination once and the key sends exactly that from then on. Works in Multi Actions too.

TWO PROFILES IN THE BOX

- 15-key Stream Deck: a category hub, one key per category, each leading to a page with every command pre-placed and a Home key back to the hub.

- Stream Deck +: a two-page layout with all seven dials pre-placed (paint surface on page one, layer surface on page two) plus 16 starter keys. Swipe the touch strip to flip pages.

Both install on first key press. The 15-key profile targets the standard 15-key Stream Deck; XL and Mini owners can still use every action on their own layouts.

SOUNDS, IF YOU WANT THEM

Any key can play a sound when pressed. 30 sounds ship in the box, and recordings made with our free Sound Sampler plugin appear in the Key Sound picker automatically.

REQUIREMENTS

Built and tested against Krita 5.3.2 (desktop) on Windows 10 and 11. Requires the Windows Stream Deck app 6.9 or newer. Dials require a Stream Deck +; keys work on every Stream Deck model. The value dials read Krita's own controls, so the Brushes and Stuff toolbar, the status bar, and the Layers docker need to be visible (all three are, by default).

Krita Complete 1.0.2.0 is the initial release.

Optional key sounds: 30 in the box, plus automatic pickup of recordings from the free Sound Sampler plugin. Sound playback uses Windows PowerShell 5.1, included with Windows 10 and 11, so key sounds play without PowerShell 7 installed.
