Lorem Ipsum Generator puts placeholder text one key-press away. Instead of searching the web and copying filler every time you build a mockup, press a single Stream Deck key and the text is typed straight into your document — a title, a paragraph, or three, depending on how you press.

One key, three gestures:

Press once — a short title, e.g. "Lorem Ipsum Dolor Consectetur"

Press twice — one full paragraph

Hold for about half a second — three paragraphs

Every press generates fresh text from the classic Lorem Ipsum vocabulary, always opening with the traditional "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…" line. The result is pasted into whatever app is in front — design tools like Figma, code editors, CMS fields, or email — and kept on your clipboard too, so you can paste it again anywhere. The key flashes a checkmark to confirm what was delivered.

What's included:

A single "Generate Lorem Ipsum" action you drop onto any key

Adjustable long-press and double-press timing, set per key

A "Copy only" mode if you would rather paste manually

Requirements: macOS 12 or later and Stream Deck 6.9 or later. Auto-paste needs Accessibility permission for Stream Deck (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility); until it is granted, text is still copied to your clipboard so you can paste it yourself.

Version 1.2 — more natural placeholder text

This update improves the quality of the generated Lorem Ipsum so it reads like the real thing:

Varied sentence lengths and natural comma placement, instead of a repetitive rhythm

No repeated words within a sentence

Fuller vocabulary, including short connecting words, for more authentic texture

Headings are now freshly generated (no longer all starting with "Lorem Ipsum") and always capitalised correctly

In three-paragraph mode, the classic "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…" opening now appears once at the start, not on every paragraph

New option: turn the opening "Lorem ipsum…" line on or off per key

Gesture controls, auto-paste, and clipboard behaviour are unchanged.
