Meeting Controls for Webex

Control your Webex meetings from Stream Deck. Mute your microphone, start or stop your video, share content, raise your hand, record and leave, each from a key that shows what Webex is doing right now. Works with the Webex app on macOS.

What's included: six actions

- Mute Toggle: mute or unmute your microphone.

- Video Toggle: start or stop your camera.

- Share Toggle: opens Webex's share dialog so you can pick a screen or window. Press again to stop sharing.

- Raise Hand Toggle: raise or lower your hand.

- Record Toggle: start or stop recording, when the meeting lets you record.

- Leave Meeting: leave the meeting. If Webex asks you to confirm, press again.

How it works

The plugin reads the buttons in the Webex meeting window about once a second and presses them for you, so keys stay in sync even when you use Webex's own controls. Webex doesn't need to be the front window. Keys dim when a control isn't available, such as outside a meeting. Every toggle also works in multi-actions, where you choose the state to end in: for example, one key that mutes you and stops your video.

Setup

- Requires macOS 13 or later, Stream Deck 7.1 or later, and the Webex app in any language it supports.

- The first time you press a key, allow Stream Deck under System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility, and let it control System Events. Keys stay dimmed until both are allowed.
