Control MeetingDebrief — the private, local meeting transcription app — directly from your Stream Deck. Start, pause, and stop recordings with a single key press. No need to switch windows or hunt for controls mid-conversation.

Start / Stop Recording

One button to begin and end your recording sessions. The key automatically toggles between start and stop, and displays a live duration counter while recording.

Pause / Resume Recording

Take a break without ending your session. The key switches between pause and resume, and dims itself when no recording is active so you always know the current state at a glance.

Open Window

Bring the MeetingDebrief window to the front instantly. Useful when you need to review a transcript or check on a summary without digging through your open apps.

Features

Live status feedback: buttons reflect the current recording state in real time, so you always know whether you're recording, paused, or idle.

Duration display: see how long your current session has been running right on the key.

Connection alerts: if MeetingDebrief isn't running or the API token is incorrect, buttons show a clear warning. The property inspector tells you exactly what's wrong.

Customizable icons: swap out key images to match your Stream Deck layout.

Setup

Install MeetingDebrief ( https://meetingdebrief.com ) if you haven't already.

In MeetingDebrief, go to Settings, enable the API and copy your API token.

Add any MeetingDebrief action to your Stream Deck, open its settings, and paste your API token.

That's it, your buttons will connect automatically.
