Mix Companion for RØDECaster

Control your RØDECaster Duo or Pro II from your Stream Deck. Faders, mutes, pads, recording and more, with keys that always show what is really happening on the desk.

HOW IT WORKS

Mix Companion talks to the RØDECaster (Rodecaster) directly over USB. No MIDI, no virtual cables, nothing else to install. Plug in, drag an action onto a key, pick a channel.

TWO-WAY AND LIVE

Move a fader on the desk and the key follows. Mute from the desk and the key turns red. Keys show what is actually true on the mixer, not the last thing you pressed. Your channel names, pads and effects are read live every session, and the RØDECaster App keeps working alongside it.

18 ACTIONS

Channels: Channel Volume (dial or key), Channel Mute, Volume Up, Volume Down, Cue.

Monitoring: Monitor (dial), Monitor Up, Monitor Down, Monitor Mute, Headphones Off.

Show: Record (with live elapsed time), Drop Marker, Smart Pad, Pad Bank, Voice FX.

Safety and desk: Panic Mute, Restore Faders, Desk Dial (screen or button brightness, ducker depth, Bluetooth send level).

REAL FADER CONTROL ON STREAM DECK +

Turn a dial to set a channel level, push to mute. Fader control is opt in per channel, and a hand on the physical fader always wins.

BUILT TO BE SAFE ON AIR

Panic Mute silences every desk output in one press and flashes until you press again. Restore Faders hands every fader back to the desk. If the Stream Deck app stops, a guardian gives the faders back to the desk on its own.

First Marketplace release. Works with the RØDECaster Duo and Pro II on Mac and Windows. This version finds the desk's record, pad bank and headphone controls on every RØDECaster, so Record, Pad Bank and Headphones Off work on Pro II desks whose internal layout differs from others.
