Moon Lite

Moon Lite puts a real, accurately calculated Moon on one Stream Deck key, free. Its phase, terminator and surface are drawn from astronomy, not a generic icon: a bundled NASA LRO mosaic, a correct terminator, earthshine on the dark side, and a quiet, premium finish that looks right on a key. It works completely offline, with no account, no network request and no permission prompt.

Tap does nothing by default; the Moon is the interface. The free edition shows the realistic Moon only. The full Moon plugin adds the illuminated percentage, phase name, lunar age, the next full or new moon, location-aware moonrise and moonset, altitude, three themes, observer or north-up orientation, configurable interactions, and the Stream Deck Neo Infobar. Online-mode is part of the full version: MoonScan.com adds the best time to watch tonight with the local weather; offline stays the default.

Moon Lite is free for macOS 12+ and Windows 10+. The free and full editions share the same renderer, astronomy and lunar surface, so Moon Lite is the real thing, not a demo.
