Multi-App Volume Dial

Overview

Multi-App Volume Dial turns a Stream Deck+ dial into a volume knob for the Windows apps you choose. Assign one app, or a whole list such as every game you play, to a dial. Turn it to set their volume, then press or tap to mute or play/pause. No need to open the Windows volume mixer.

Features

• Per-app volume: changes each app's own Windows volume, not your master volume

• Several apps per dial: every running app on the list follows the dial together

• Priority order: the touch strip shows the highest-ranked running app with its own icon and name

• Push or tap: pick Mute/Unmute or Play/Pause media for each dial

• Step size: 1-10% per dial click

• Live status: red slash when muted, pause badge when paused, grey bar when none of its apps are running

• Plan ahead: "Show Inactive" lists apps you've used before, so you can assign a game before launching it

Setup

1. Drag "Multi-App Volume Dial" onto a dial.

2. Under Application, pick an app. A new empty row appears for the next one. Use ▲ to raise its priority or ✕ to remove it.

3. Set Step Size and Push Button to taste.

Tip: Windows only lists apps that are playing sound. Play something in the app once, or turn on Show Inactive, to see it in the list.

Requirements: Windows 10 or later, Stream Deck 7.1 or later, and a Stream Deck with dials (Stream Deck+).
