Music Controller

Overview

Control Apple Music, Spotify, TIDAL and Amazon Music from your Stream Deck on Windows. See the album art and song on your keys, skip and seek, shuffle and repeat, and set volume, all tinted to match the song that's playing.

On Stream Deck +, the touch strip shows the album art with the title, artist, time and progress. Turn a dial and the volume appears in large type; push to switch between your Personal and Stream mix. Every Elgato Wave Link channel (System, Discord, games, browser, mic) gets its own dial or key in the color of its icon, and muted mics turn red.

Features:

- Now Playing key: album art, art with title and progress, or one big cover across several keys

- Play/Pause, Next, Previous, Stop, Seek, Volume and Mute keys that work on keys and dials

- Lock any key to one service, or follow whatever is playing

- Press Play with the app closed and it opens and resumes your music

- Remembers the last song's artwork after you close the app

- Shuffle, Repeat and Favorite, lit while on

- Sleep timer that fades out and pauses

- Copy Song, and now-playing text and cover files for OBS

- XLR-safe mode for Stream Deck + XLR owners

Seek, shuffle and repeat depend on what each service shares with Windows. Requires Windows 10 or 11 and Stream Deck 7.1 or later. Wave Link features need Elgato Wave Link 3.

New

- Amazon Music support: album art, song info, progress, play/pause, next/previous and volume. Amazon

Music doesn't share artwork or song length with Windows, so they're looked up online by title and

artist, and progress is estimated. Seek, shuffle and repeat aren't available for Amazon Music.

- The Open Player key shows the service's name, dimmed while the app is closed.

Fixed

- Opening a music app from a key could briefly play very loud before Elgato Wave Link applied its

volume. The app now stays silent until Wave Link has picked it up.

- Album art could stay on the previous song's cover after changing songs in the music app itself.

- Apple Music: Play with an empty queue now starts your Recently Played music, and the Favorite key

shows the right state again (Apple Music changed how it reports favorites).

- "Whatever is playing" now stays on the app you paused, so Play resumes it.

- Copy Song no longer adds a hidden character at the start of the copied text.

- The Sleep Timer key no longer goes blank in its last minute.

- Updating the plugin no longer leaves an old plugin folder behind.

- Seeking inside the music app now moves the progress bar on your keys too.

Improved

- Much lighter in the background: about 90% less CPU and 70% less memory, for smoother running on

modest PCs and laptops. Changes still show up instantly.

- Long tracks show hours (1:02:05), and Amazon Music songs without a title or artist are handled.
