Nocturne Deck

Your music deserves more than a flat tile. Nocturne Deck turns your XENEON EDGE into a classic hi-fi LCD deck: glowing 7-segment clocks, album art, a scrolling now-playing line and a real 48-band spectrum that moves with every beat.

New in 1.1: put your cover on a spinning turntable, wrap it in a radial spectrum, watch analog VU needles swing, or let the whole display take on the colours of the album cover. Seven skins, from Gunmetal to Tube Amp, with Pumpkin Night and Frost arriving with the seasons.

It works with the player you already use: Spotify, YouTube and any browser, AIMP (including classic versions), VLC, foobar2000, Apple Music, TIDAL, Deezer and more.

Data and Connectivity

Nocturne Deck reads the song title and artist through iCUE. Everything else — player choice, album art, play state, seeking, volume, the app mixer and the real spectrum — comes from Nocturne Bridge, a free tray app from the Related Download link (https://github.com/GiannisM72/nocturne-bridge/releases/latest). The app mixer needs Nocturne Bridge 1.5 or newer.

Nocturne Bridge runs only on your PC and listens on localhost. It never connects to the internet, needs no account and collects no data. Audio is analysed live and never recorded. No admin rights, no installer; to remove it, exit the tray app and delete its folder.

Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" the first time, because the bridge is new and independently made. Click More info, then Run anyway. The full source code is included.

Setup takes about a minute: add Nocturne Deck to your Edge in iCUE, set the size to Extra large, then unzip Nocturne Bridge into a folder you keep and start NocturneBridge.exe.

Without the bridge, the widget still shows the current song and basic controls.
