Overview
OUGHTS AND CROSSES - Tic-Tac-Toe on your Stream Deck
Play Noughts and Crosses (Tic-Tac-Toe) on a 15-key Stream Deck, against the CPU or a friend. A ready-made profile puts a 3x3 board in the middle, your score and the CPU score on the right, and a level key that cycles through 5 CPU difficulties.
FEATURES
- Ready-made 15-key profile with the board, score keys and controls already placed.
- Play vs CPU with 5 levels, from random moves to an unbeatable opponent.
- Two-player mode: hold the CPU key to switch to Player vs Player (Player 1 is blue X, Player 2 is red O).
- 3-2-1 countdown on every press. Keys lock while it runs, so no accidental double clicks.
- Every key refreshes on each press, so the app and your Stream Deck always match.
- The You key shows "YOUR TURN" when it is your move.
- The winning line lights up green. Press any cell to start the next game after a 3-second loading animation.
- Scores and CPU level are saved between sessions. The starting player alternates each game.
HOW TO USE
1. Install the plugin and accept the "noughts-and-crosses" profile for the 15-key Stream Deck.
2. Press an empty cell. A 3-2-1 countdown runs, then your X is placed and the CPU answers.
3. Press the level key to cycle the CPU level from 1 to 5.
4. Hold the CPU key (about 1 second) to switch between Player vs CPU and Player vs Player.
5. Hold the You key to reset the board and both scores.
6. When a game ends, press any cell to load the next one.
REQUIREMENTS
- Stream Deck 7.1 or later, Windows 10+ or macOS 13+.
- Designed for the 15-key layout (5 columns x 3 rows).
NOTES
- On another layout, drag the actions from the "Noughts and Crosses" category. The 9 board cells must form a 3x3 block.
The version has added a two-player mode / the ability for two players to play together.
