Obsidian macOS Master Commander

All 97 Obsidian commands fire from a key, hotkey or no hotkey: 48 run through Obsidian's command line interface. Made to run beside Claude Code. Fourteen dials fly your canvas, browse clips, walk the file tree and read your vault live. Claude Keeper keeps what the terminal gives you; six Agent Companion keys point Claude at a note and follow what it writes. Seven bundled profiles, one per Stream Deck, plus a pop-open keypad.

ONE SETUP STEP

Turn on Obsidian's command line interface once: Settings, General, Command line interface. If a key alerts or a dial screen stays dim, that toggle is off.

EVERY COMMAND FIRES

49 of the 97 send Obsidian's default hotkey; the other 48 run through the CLI, nothing to bind. Obsidian Command runs ANY palette command, core or community, no keystrokes, its dropdown read live from your app. Active Note shows your open note.

FOURTEEN DIALS

Seven read Obsidian live via the CLI:

- File Tree Navigator: walk the explorer from the editor.

- Command Browser: every registered command. Press runs it.

- Link Compass: backlinks, outgoing links, recent files.

- Vault HUD: word count, open tasks, last edit, backlinks.

- Clipboard Stack: turn to browse, press to deliver, hold to pin.

- Canvas Pilot: a live minimap. Turn to zoom, press to fit.

- Outline Jump: turn through headings, press to jump.

Seven drive the app: Text Size, App Zoom, Outline Fold, Daily Note Navigator, File History, Tab Cycle and Undo Redo.

Capture Clip feeds that stack, Clip Slot keys hold pinned clips, Quick Capture appends to a daily, open or picked note.

MADE FOR CLAUDE CODE

Claude Keeper keeps your clipboard in one note, each press a dated orange entry. Copy a resume command from the terminal, press, done. Six Agent Companion keys are the steps you do by hand today:

- Note Path to Prompt types the open note's path into the terminal.

- Paste Kickoff pastes the last code block of the open note into the prompt.

- Follow the Agent opens each note as Claude writes it.

- Inbox Count shows how many notes it left you.

- Open Note takes you back to the plan or today's note.

- Claude Command types a stock Claude Code command such as /clear and presses Enter.

Vault Tool runs ten vault actions from one key. Claude Code is a separate product by Anthropic, not affiliated with or endorsing this plugin; these keys work beside any terminal.

Hold the key a second with Obsidian in front: the deck binds it to this plugin's profile, up when Obsidian has focus, gone when you leave.

Hub keys open pages, Home keys return. Obsidian macOS Master Commander 4 Keypad is the Stream Deck's pop-open T9 keypad.

Click Sync and the key reads your real binding, overrides included. 68 of the 97 commands sync this way; the other 29 are raw keystrokes.

Works with the Obsidian desktop app, version 1.12.4 or later, on Windows 10 and 11 and macOS 13 or later. Requires the Stream Deck desktop app 6.9 or newer. On a Mac, grant the Stream Deck app Accessibility and Automation in System Settings, Privacy & Security. US keyboard layout.

Claude Keeper keeps whatever is on your clipboard in one note, each press a new orange entry stamped with the date and time. Copy a resume command or an answer out of the Claude Code terminal, press, and it is in Obsidian for good. The first press creates, bookmarks and opens the note.

Six Agent Companion keys wire the vault to an AI command line: Note Path to Prompt, Paste Kickoff, Open Note, Inbox Count and Follow the Agent, and Claude Command types a stock Claude Code command such as /clear and presses Enter. Vault Tool runs ten vault actions from one key. Outline Jump is the fourteenth dial. Quick Capture lands in today's daily note, the note in front, or a note you pick. Seven new commands, 97 in all, every one firing.

A T9 keypad types into any text field. It sits on the Home page of the Stream Deck + XL and Stream Deck XL hubs and pops open on the Stream Deck.

No more page buttons: hub keys open pages, a Home key returns. The Stream Deck XL hub is rebuilt with a page per category.

The bundled profiles carry a 4 in their names now, so this update can offer you the new pages. After updating: answer the Install Profile(s) prompt (it can open on your other monitor), press Easy Link once per deck with Obsidian in front, then delete the old profile from the app's list when you are done with it.
