RimWorld Shorcuts & Dev Mode Profile
by Adx.cool
Overview
The complete RimWorld keyboard shortcut pack for Stream Deck.
43 shortcuts across 6 categories — organized, scored by importance, and ready to install on Stream Deck Classic / MK.2, Neo, XL. Stop memorizing key combos. One tap, one action.
What's included:
• Tabs (10) • Dev (9) • Colony (8) • Time (6) • View (6) • Architect (4)
Features: • Every main tab on its own key — Work, Schedule, Assign, Animals, Wildlife, Research, Quests, World, History — instead of hunting F1 through F9. • Pause plus Normal, Fast and Super Fast speeds under your thumb, with Slower/Faster nudges and draft, forbid and power on the keys you actually reach for mid-raid. • A dedicated Dev folder: god mode, debug log, dev palette, tick-once. Nine tiles that stay out of the way until you enable dev mode. • 43 keys in 6 folders. Keys-only, Windows: Stream Deck Classic/MK.2, XL and Neo.
Install: double-click any .streamDeckProfile to import. The App binding is pre-filled to RimWorld — auto-activates on focus. If it didn't pre-fill, set it manually under Stream Deck → Preferences → Profiles → App.

THE NINE DEV TILES NEED DEV MODE. RimWorld hides its development commands until you tick Options → Gameplay → Development mode. Until then those nine tiles do nothing. The other 34 keys work from a fresh install. This is a game setting, not a fault in the profile.
The Architect tool buttons are deliberately absent. RimWorld gives them twelve shared slots (Misc1-Misc12) that are reassigned every time you switch Architect category — the same letter is Growing zone in Orders and something else in Structure. A tile for one of them would be wrong more often than right, so this profile ships only the four Architect commands that are the same everywhere: Cancel, Deconstruct, Rotate Left, Rotate Right.
Camera panning is absent for the same kind of reason: RimWorld pans while you hold a key, and a Stream Deck sends a tap. Zoom in and out are included because they work on a tap.
Every binding in this profile was read from RimWorld’s own definition files, from a source predating update 1.6. They match the published defaults and have not changed in years. The ten main-tab keys are the ones most worth double-checking, since RimWorld has renamed and added tabs across past versions before. If anything has moved, Options → Key Bindings shows the current binding.
RimWorld lets you rebind everything; this profile assumes the defaults.
