Server Pets
by Arturo
Overview
Small pets. Useful signals. Big personality.
Your servers work hard. Give them a friendly face on Stream Deck.
Server Pets turns your Glances readings into expressive little companions. Choose the ivory Robot, the amber Cyber Cat, or the lavender Digital Slime—then give each server its own key.
🤖 Meet your tiny monitoring crew
Three original characters, each with distinct expressions and personality. Pick a different companion for your NAS, build machine or home server.
👀 Read the mood at a glance
CPU, RAM and filesystem usage shape your pet’s expression. Set your own warning and critical thresholds, with clear labels for missing data and connection trouble.
📊 Tap into the numbers
Switch to a rotating carousel of ten metrics: CPU, RAM, disk usage, swap, network in and out, disk reads and writes, one-minute load and uptime.
↗️ Hold for the bigger picture
Hold the key to open your configured dashboard in your browser. From a quick glance to a deeper look, without hunting through tabs.
🎛️ Make every key your own
Choose its character, server name, refresh interval, monitored resources and thresholds. Settings save automatically, and a built-in connection test helps you get started.
Your homelab. Your little control room. Your server pets.
Requires a reachable Glances REST API v4 server. Metric availability depends on the host and enabled Glances plugins. No telemetry. Optional credentials are stored in Stream Deck action settings and are not encrypted by this plugin.
