Simply OLED
Overview
You paid for an OLED monitor. Simply OLED helps it stay perfect, without a background app nagging you.
- Blackout: turns one monitor pure black, so its pixels are fully off and resting, while you keep gaming or working on another. The black screen never steals focus from your game. Tap again, or click the black screen, to wake it.
- Pixel Wash: a slow, full-screen color cycle (or a sweeping bar) that evens out temporary image retention after long static sessions. Colors glide over seconds and never strobe. The key shows the countdown in the wash's live color. Optionally leave the screen black when it is done.
- Screen Time: how long each monitor has been lit since its last rest. It turns gold, then orange when a rest is due (default every 4 hours). A rest is five minutes dark: a blackout, Windows switching the display off, or the PC sleeping. Press to wash or black out, hold to reset.
- Taskbar Auto-Hide: the taskbar is the most common source of OLED burn-in. One key flips auto-hide on or off and always shows the current setting.
Monitors are listed by their real names (for example "LG ULTRAGEAR+" or "AW3423DWF"), with resolution to tell twins apart. Everything runs locally on your PC: no account, no internet, no data collected.
Simply OLED reduces the risk of burn-in and clears temporary image retention. It cannot repair burn-in that is already permanent; for that, use your monitor's own pixel refresh.
Windows 10 and 11.
