Starship Ops Panel
by Nerd Powered
Overview
Turn your CORSAIR XENEON EDGE into a full-screen starship operations console. Watch your hardware, control your music, fire Stream Deck actions and sound Red Alert when things run hot, all in a bold retro-futuristic sci-fi interface.
Features
Primary Systems
Six sensor slots for CPU and GPU temperatures, loads, fans, pumps and more
Give each sensor its own label, or hide it; the remaining rows grow to fill the space
Segmented readout bars that update live
Red & Yellow Alert
Tap the sidebar buttons to go to Red or Yellow Alert; tap again to cancel
Automatic Red Alert: pick any sensor and a threshold, and the whole console goes red when it's reached
Flashing title and status bar that show exactly which sensor tripped the alert
Optional alarm sounds: choose from five styles (Explorer Whoop, Battleship Klaxon, Frigate Warble, Scout Pulse, Starbase Siren) with their own volume
Command Keys (Stream Deck)
Eight touch keys backed by a virtual Stream Deck
Assign any Stream Deck action; its icon and title appear right on the console
Pick your virtual Stream Deck right in the widget settings, by the same name it has in the Stream Deck app, or create a new one with +
Don't use Stream Deck? Turn Command Keys off and the other panels take the space
Audio Subsystem
Now playing: song and artist
Previous, play/pause and next controls
Chronometer
Large local-time clock (12 or 24 hour)
Live stardate
The whole month at a glance, with today highlighted
Make it yours
Dock the Sensors, Audio or Command panel with a tap; the others slide over to use the room
Horizontal and vertical layouts for the Extra Large slot
Four color palettes: Classic, Blue, Red and Yellow
Set your own ship name and registry number
Adjust text, accent and background colors, transparency and animations
Requirements
CORSAIR XENEON EDGE
iCUE 5.46 or newer on Windows (Command Keys need iCUE 5.52 or newer)
Designed for the Extra Large widget slot (horizontal or vertical); smaller slots work but scale the console down
Optional: the Elgato Stream Deck app for Command Keys
Getting started
Add Starship Ops Panel to the Extra Large slot on your XENEON EDGE.
In the widget settings, choose your sensors under Sensors and set the Red Alert sensor and threshold under Starship Ops Panel.
For Command Keys, open the Stream Deck app, choose a device under Command Keys → Virtual Device (or tap + to create one), then assign actions to that device in Stream Deck.
Good to know
Song info comes from Windows media controls. Apps that don't report to them (for example the Pandora desktop app) won't show a track.
Like every touch-enabled iCUE widget, the console receives the touches on it, so iCUE's swipe-to-change-page gesture doesn't pass through it.
iCUE asks you to allow Stream Deck access and sound the first time; choose Allow.
Runs entirely on your PC: no account, no internet connection, no data collection.

Starship Ops Panel 0.8.8
New:
Red Alert Sound: Red Alert can now sound an alarm. Pick a style in the widget settings (Explorer Whoop, Battleship Klaxon, Frigate Warble, Scout Pulse or Starbase Siren) and set Sound Volume. Off by default. The alarm sounds a few times when Red Alert begins and stops if you cancel it.
Something new is hidden at the helm. Captains may want to hold a station button a little longer than usual.
Notes:
iCUE asks to allow sound for Starship Ops; choose Allow to hear it.
iCUE only lets widgets play sound after you have touched the panel once, so an automatic Red Alert right after startup may be silent until then.
Technical:
New settings redAlertSound and soundVolume; manifest adds the "speaker" permission
All sounds are generated by the widget, with compression and reverb; no audio files
