Superwhisper Controls adds dedicated Stream Deck keys for recording, mode switching, and settings to more easily capture your dictations to be used across workflows.

Actions:

Toggle Recording: toggle Superwhisper recording.

Start Recording: start recording when idle.

Stop Recording: stop an active recording session.

Switch Mode: use a saved mode key and optional button label.

Open Settings: open Superwhisper settings and make adjustments to your workflow

Use cases:

Keep dictation controls visible while working in another app.

Switch between Superwhisper modes without reaching for the keyboard.

Use separate start and stop keys for predictable commands.

Build a layout around the controls you use most.

Compatibility requirements:

Stream Deck 7.1+ with a keypad controller.

macOS 12+ or Windows 10+.

Superwhisper installed (free version available) with the superwhisper:// URL scheme registered.

Switch Mode requires a manually configured mode key.

Toggle Recording does not mirror live recording state.

Requirements

Known limitations

Toggle Recording does not mirror Superwhisper’s live recording state.

Switch Mode uses a manually entered mode key; automatic mode discovery is not included.
