Setup

1. Install the plugin and restart Ableton

2. In Ableton: Preferences -> Link, Tempo & MIDI -> Control Surface -> HJF Plugins

3. In Stream Deck: add an Ableton action to a key and select your action

V2 is a major update focused on speed, stability, and deeper Ableton Live integration. New action categories, improved device handling, smarter routing, and a fully rebuilt icon system make the plugin faster, clearer, and more reliable in both studio and live environments.

Six new action groups are now integrated: Devices, Functions, Routing, Color, Multi, Rename, and Navigation. These allow faster control, improved organization, and more efficient workflows directly from Stream Deck.

A completely new icon system has been added, including 450+ default and function icons. Icons are mapped automatically and update in realtime, ensuring clear visual feedback and faster navigation.

Connection reliability has been significantly improved. The plugin now supports multiple communication ports and automatically switches if one becomes unavailable, ensuring uninterrupted communication and faster recovery after reloads.

Version mismatch detection is now clearly displayed in the UI, preventing conflicts and ensuring full compatibility between the plugin and Ableton script.

The Devices system has been fully rebuilt. Devices load faster, search is improved, presets update instantly, duplicate instances are filtered, and new presets appear immediately without restarting Ableton.

Communication have been optimized, resulting in faster execution, improved state accuracy, lower latency, and more stable performance during intensive use and live operation.
