Rename - Rename selected elements: Rename Tracks, Clips, and Scenes for cleaner sets and clear structure with just a single press.

Navigation - Move through your project with ease: Move through Ableton instantly with Up, Down, Left, and Right controls, with adjustable step size and a matching direction icon.

Random - Surprise yourself (NEW): Load a random plugin, preset, device or audio file from your own pool, even via Hot-Swap into Simpler or Sampler. Every press gets a fresh colorful name.

Multi - Combine all above actions in one button: Run multiple actions from one key using 5 modes: Press, Momentary, Toggle, Hold & Dual, plus a Shift mode for switching layers.

Dials (Stream Deck + / + XL only) - Real-time parameter control: Use Dials for Tempo, Volume, Pan, Sends, Macro, Loop, MIDI Transpose, Scroll, Master & Cue, now with live visuals and volume indication.

Setup

Install the plugin and restart Ableton

In Ableton: Preferences -> Link, Tempo & MIDI -> Control Surface -> HJF Plugins

In Stream Deck: add an Ableton action to a key and select your action

macOS and Windows support

A fresh update with more control on your keys and dials, plus the launch of our new plugin Ableton Icons. Thanks again for all your feedback, it keeps shaping this tool.

Selected Parameter: control the parameter you last clicked in Live, on a key or a dial.

Zoom on the dial: turn to zoom in and out in Arrangement or Session view.

Scroll Step: the Scroll dial now moves up to 20 steps per tick.

Fine volume: new Fine speed on the volume dials, 0.1 dB per tick for precise mixing.

Plugin icons in the Device list: a small icon in front of every VST3, VST and AU plugin that already has one.

Multi icons: Multi keys now also show plugin icons from your installed icon packs.

No icon found: a VST or AU key without an icon now says so, and the plugin name stays on the key. Hide this tip with the × in the Device settings, turn it back on in Help.
