Burndown: AI Usage Monitor
by Kuberstar
Overview
Know your Claude.ai limits before they know you.
With the Burndown plugin, your weekly Claude.ai usage limits fill up live on Stream Deck: the all-model 7-day window plus per-model limits such as Fable. No surprise lockouts mid-prompt. No more tab-switching to claude.ai/usage.
Every key reads the exact percentage used, the time until reset, and a sustainable rate that keeps you on pace. Colors shift from green to amber to red as usage climbs.
Key actions include:
Usage Overview: the weekly window and your model limit on a single key
7-Day Window: progress ring with ETA and pace
Pace 7d: sustainable percent-per-day to stay on track
Model Limit: one Claude model's weekly limit, such as Fable on Max plans
Usage Split: how this week divides across Claude Code, chats and Cowork
The 7-Day and Model Limit keys also work on Stream Deck + dials. Set an alert threshold and any key flashes when its window crosses it.
Sign in your way: reuse your Claude Code sign-in, import the claude.ai login from your browser, or paste a session token.
For the exact lockout time, reset forecasts, weekly stats, budget planning, multi-account headroom and native notifications, see Burndown Pro.
Requirements: a Claude.ai Pro or Max plan (not Team or Enterprise). Stream Deck 7.1+ on macOS 10.15+ or Windows 10+.
Your sign-in stays on your machine: no server of ours, no telemetry, read-only usage requests only.

Added
Sign in without copying a cookie. The Add Account card has a Find sign-ins button. It finds your Claude Code sign-in and the claude.ai login in Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc, Vivaldi, Opera and Firefox, so adding an account is one click. A Claude Code sign-in is never copied: Burndown reads its current access token at each refresh and never renews it, so Claude Code stays signed in. A token from claude setup-token works too.
Usage Split key: how this week divides across Claude Code, chats and Cowork.
Fixed
With no Burndown key on screen, Burndown no longer calls claude.ai at all. It used to poll every interval around the clock whenever an alert threshold was set.
Opus & Sonnet 7d keys placed before 1.4.0.0 work again instead of being broken tiles, showing your model's weekly limit.
A redirect is refused, never followed, so no address other than the usage endpoints is contacted.
Changed
Claude.ai no longer has a 5-hour limit. The 5-Hour Window and Pace 5h actions leave the action list; keys already placed say "No 5h limit" instead of "Setup / Add token".
Usage Overview shows the weekly window plus your model limit (Fable on Max plans), and alerts on both.
An error key says what is wrong and what to do, such as "Token expired - paste a new one", instead of a message cut off after 14 characters.
