Overview
DirectPipe — Stream Deck Plugin
Control your real-time VST audio processing directly from your Stream Deck.
DirectPipe is a lightweight VST2/VST3 host for Windows that processes microphone input through a plugin chain. This
Stream Deck plugin gives you instant, hands-free control over your entire audio pipeline — perfect for streamers,
podcasters, and musicians who need to adjust their sound on the fly.
6 Dedicated Actions:
Bypass Toggle — Enable or disable individual VST plugins in your chain with a single press. Long-press for master bypass.
Volume Control — Adjust monitor, output, or input volume. Supports both button press (mute toggle) and SD+ dial rotation for precise level control with real-time visual feedback.
Preset Switch — Instantly switch between 5 quick preset slots (A–E), each storing your full plugin chain state. Cycle through presets or jump directly to a specific slot.
Monitor Toggle — Turn your headphone monitor output on or off independently from your main output.
Panic Mute — Immediately silence all audio outputs with one press. Press again to restore your previous state. Essential for live situations.
Recording Toggle — Start and stop WAV recording of your processed audio. Displays elapsed recording time on your Stream Deck button.
Key Features:
Real-time state sync — Every button reflects the current state of DirectPipe instantly
SD+ dial support — Rotate to adjust volume, press to mute, touch for direct control
Zero-latency connection — Local WebSocket with automatic discovery, no manual setup needed
Works alongside ASIO and WASAPI — Monitor output control works regardless of your audio driver
