Game Release Lantern

Game Release Lantern is a Windows Stream Deck plugin that puts three curated upcoming PC games on separate keys so players can see each release at a glance and go straight to Steam. Each Featured Game key shows original title-card artwork and an automatic day/hour/minute countdown; at release, the countdown clears and OUT NOW artwork appears. Press before release to open the verified HTTPS Steam Store page. Press after release to launch the matching installed game through Steam; if launch fails, the Store page opens instead.

Setup: drag Featured Game to up to three keys, then choose Game 1, Game 2, or Game 3 in the property inspector. Enable Keep this game to pin that slot when a future plugin update changes the bundled lineup. Leave Stream Deck's Title field empty for the automatic countdown, or use its image picker for your own key artwork. Add Catalog Status to see how many bundled slots are ready and pinned; press it to reload every visible Game Release Lantern key.

The catalog and original artwork are included in the plugin, so viewing the lineup and countdowns needs no account, subscription, API key, or hosted service. New curated games arrive with plugin updates; this version does not download a live catalog. Requires Windows 10 or newer and Stream Deck 7.1 or newer. Steam is required only after release; games are not included and must be owned and installed separately.

New featured lineups now include upcoming games only.

Updated the lineup with Valor Mortis, Planet Zoo 2, and Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest.

Added original artwork for the new games, including matching released-state cards without the timer band.

Supported pinned games keep their artwork and Steam launch behavior after release and across lineup updates.

Added checks to prevent already-released games from entering new packages and verify pinned-game launch and Steam Store fallback behavior.
