KeyCam

KeyCam puts a live webcam preview directly on a Stream Deck key — no extra window, no bulky camera app, just your camera feed right where you need it.

Press the key and KeyCam saves a photo straight to your Pictures folder, with a satisfying camera-shutter animation for instant visual feedback. Choose from five color filters (grayscale, sepia, cool, warm, or none) to match your setup, and optionally have the destination folder open automatically after each shot.

KeyCam is considerate of other apps: it always tries Windows' camera-sharing mode first so other software can use the same webcam at the same time, and falls back automatically to normal access within seconds if that isn't supported by your camera. If another app is already using the camera, the key shows a friendly "Camera busy" message and reconnects the moment it's free — no manual retries needed.

Works out of the box with a bundled capture engine, so there's nothing extra to install. Great for streamers, presenters, and anyone who wants a quick self-cam check or an instant snapshot button — and doubles nicely as a simple monitoring key for a room or desk.

Hold the key for a couple of seconds while the preview is on to start recording video with audio at 1080@60, straight to your Videos folder, with a blinking red dot to show it's rolling. Press once to stop and open the file, press again to turn the camera off.
